The much awaited dock was indeed completed in a day.....well 99 % of it. It still needs a bridge-as of now we can step over the bank to it or walk the plank. It's beautiful and easy to launch the kayak from it. We have enjoyed several evening paddles around the pond and have spotted what seems to be perhaps three baby night herons. I will try to get some photos of them to post very soon.
Yacky was the shift supervisor in the construction process. It was the first time he discovered there was a large body of water at the end of the property....he liked it a lot.
